The Great Lakes Region is part of the National WPC Club, Inc.
Our goal is to bring Mopar fans together at the local level. So whether you have your own fleet of Mopars, are still in the looking stage or just want to see some great Chrysler Corporation cars, you are welcome.
The WPC-GLR Club
Promotes the preservation and enjoyment of Chrysler Corporation automobiles, including Chrysler, Imperial, Dodge, DeSoto, Plymouth, Maxwell, Chalmers, Jeep and Eagle and related cars, trucks and literature.
Encourages the publication of studies and research about their history.
Conducts meetings, tours, and other programs related to the development and history of Chrysler automobiles and their lore.
And is a social organization having fun and enjoying our Mopars.
You may be wondering why "WPC"? Well, it stands forWalter Percy Chrysler, founder of the Chrysler Corporation. Walter Chrysler was a dynamic leader who formed the Chrysler Corporation in 1924 from the floundering Maxwell-Chalmers organization. From that base he made Chrysler cars, purchased the Dodge Brothers Corporation with the Dodge cars and created the Imperial, DeSoto and Plymouth automobiles.
